What a f***ing great season. It sucks it ended this way but there’s no way anyone could consider this season anything but a success. A poor preseason had the highest expectations at competing for a wild card slot. Now the window of contention has been jammed open. The obligation from management is now to build off this. Add to this roster and make them a legitimate Stanley Cup threat. Players have to go into the offseason motivated to make up for this disappointing end. As fans, our expectations have been raised. We should expect a playoff team that can contend.

The off-season begins tomorrow. The NHL draft is only 6 weeks away. This the furthest any of us have had to wait for the off-season in a very long time.

Well deserved. Pull your head out of your ass for 10 mins of the game when the other team is taking it easy with a 3-goal lead. Good job. No credit for taking basically the game off and scrambling like a chicken with your head cut-off in the second half of the third.

Equally terrible efforts two games in a row. Credit to Silvos for showing up in front of that garbage.

Ah well at least it wasn't completely embarrassing but we could have had this series. Lot of blame to go around. I hope the players and Tocchet learn from this. With some roster tweaks we can go far, this is the early opening of our window.

Pathetic couple of last games, tbh.

But good season overall. Get some players who will readily shoot the puck, please.
