Man the Oilers D are rusty. They had full possession several times in that period to clear and they gave it away. They didn't do that in the LA series.

Yeah, takes awhile to adjust to playing against a forecheck again after multiple games against the Kings.

Except right there when Desharnais barely touched him and he went down like a sack right in front of the ref trying to draw one. Which is exactly why the ref didn’t call it, if Boeser doesn’t break a heel there, Desharnais is probably on his way to the box there.

The Oilers did this to LA too for stretches. Their defensive zone play has become incredibly underrated under Knoblauch.

Yeah, I am referring the Canucks in the last series. Even in the games where they looked better the shot totals were still low.
