Man the Oilers D are rusty. They had full possession several times in that period to clear and they gave it away. They didn't do that in the LA series.

Really stinky period from all of Vancouver's centres. Hiding from the puck on both sides of it
But if the Oilers scored more goals, they'd have more goals still.

Strange as it sounds a punch right in the kisser period might be just what the doctor ordered for the Canucks. Haven't really played a ton of inspired hockey since the All Star break.
Honestly more entertaining than all 6 games against Nashville.

The Oilers did this to LA too for stretches. Their defensive zone play has become incredibly underrated under Knoblauch.
Canucks are only losing because the Oilers scored 2 goals.

Oilers D has been terrible, again playing like they have a Vezina winner in net.
Better lock down the arena then. There's a sniper somewhere up in the stands.

I don't think that's true. No team benefits from the powerplay more than Edmonton.
Oilers looked rusty and still coming out with a 2 goal lead.
That said Vancouver had one of their best shifts of the entire playoffs to close the period, they got not one but TWO shots on the same shift.
