we need willie and RR back asap. we need the D depth moving forward. the image of Kane on Schultz sends shivers down my spine

Like the thought of Schultz against Getzlaf and Perry?

The guy did well against the top offense in the league playing in all situations and late in games. He'll be fine against Chicago too.

All 6 of them? It's funny that they hate us so much when I sometimes forget that they are even a team.

I thought about them just the other day. I was making a list of teams that encourage that ****** Beat LA chant. That's about as relevant as they can be.

Oh, and we compared Lucic to Captain Classy Canada, Dr. Doan.

Best part of going deep in the playoffs is watching your rivals' avatars change multiple times :D

As if no one notices, heh.

Oh I notice. And I keep track. I'm petty like that.

Ducks aren't on the Blackhawks' level of possession, and the Kings were uneven in this series even so.

Even our healthy defense struggled against Chicago. Tell me you wouldn't take Mitchell or Regehr over him in a heartbeat, because everything's fine.

I actually like Shultz over Mitchell or RR, we don't know if either guy is healthy.

Schultz is healthy. People forget Schultz is a legit NHL Defender. The guy just had some bumps in his career just like most NHLer's have.

Going back to the AHL(working on his game) is probably going to save Schultz career.

Voynov is going to have to be a whole hell of a lot better in this series than he was against San Jose and Anaheim.

What you see, is what you get out of Slava. He needs the off-season to reset his mind.

His confidence is shot, and it shows on the ice.

I can't recall the name of the poster, but before the series started someone said on the main boards something along the lines of Ducks having no idea what's about to hit them. And after 6 great and really close games, I must admit your team did prove him or her right in game 7.

An impressive performance indeed, so I just wanted to stop by your boards and give my thanks for a good series and wish you luck against Chicago. Real class shown at the end of the games too, was really nice to see!

Hopefully we'll meet again next year, though I might be alone on this specific board to hope for a different outcome if that were to happen. ;)

Truly the golden age for Kings fans. Enjoy it. For years to come Kings fans will be talking about this era and how they wish they could have a Justin Williams-type player, or that the team needs a Jarret Stoll in the bottom six, a Jeff Carter kind of scorer or whatever the name could be. One day we'll all nostalgically look back at these past few years and smile. What a team.

:handclap: amazing. I'm traveling in Italy at the moment. Couldn't find a decent feed so resorted to refreshing twitter every few minutes. Went back to bed around 5:30am.

Nice

A reminder that there are people out there in Europe who watch these games around 4 AM and go to sleep/work around 7.30 AM.

Seriously that is tough, especially after a loss...

I love this team. How they do it, I dont know.

Everyone is welcome for me springing for the gf to go as well as she was in the building for Games 1, 6 and 7.

Top 3 game I've ever been to and I've been at nearly every Kings home game since 2001 and many games at Ponda. Sections behind the net where the Kings shoot twice were packed with Kings fans. What a great time.

Really felt this game was a referendum on the Ducks fanbase. You simply can not have that many season seat holders selling their tickets to a Game 7 in order to make $100. Kings fans were insane tonight. If there were that many of the opposing teams fans at Staples for a Game 7, I'd lose my mind. Almost felt bad for the smattering of Ducks fans that were in my section. What a nightmare.

Ducks have trolled the Kings for years. Kings just dropped a TD without the extra point on them in their own building in a Game 7. Kings have serious head-to-head bragging rights at the moment. What a win.

Good to hear BB mention "men against boys". That's how I felt about Game 7 against SJ and even more so tonight. The Kings played better but the Ducks played worse at the same time. Simply amazing to be there for this. Kudos to every Kings fan who showed up, paid the money and risked the walk of shame. We were all rewarded tonight and it feels so, so good.

and I dont want to sound cocky but I predicted these game 7 wins and another WCF's in January already. ;)

I think the Kings played a hell of a game in the 3rd period. Also the fact they are capable to turn around 2-0 into 2-2 in an away game vs Boston speak volumes.

Kings have some issues but I'm not negative.

This team will win a 7 game series against 92.2% of the teams in this league. WCF here we come.

@cmasisak22: Semyon Varlamov was pulled at 22:13 after allowing 4 goals on 18 shots in Game 7 in 2009. Gibson? Pulled at 22:02. 4 goals on 18 shots. Wow.

Boudreau, on whether there was a lack of poise in Anaheim’s game:
You can call it whatever you want. I’m the kind of guy that, yeah we didn’t do things that we wanted to do but I want to give the LA Kings a little bit of credit here. They played like Stanley Cup champions. They never played like that in the first period like in any of the other six games. I think we were individually and collectively blown away by what they were doing. You’ve never seen them out-passing us individually as a player. I mean it’s like we were standing still and they were driving by us. We weren’t really good, but let’s not take too much away from them. They’re going to give Chicago everything they can handle.

It's so easy to respect BB as a coach and as a person. He's not like ****ing Tmac and the dbag behind the Coyotes bench that whines about everything.

That's really cool to hear him say.

I just realized that the horn never buzzed after Anaheim scored. So, technically it was a Kings home game? Hahaha, kidding aside, this team has shown us a side we've never seen from them. Lost 3 straight games in back to back series, yet still won. Amazing. Nice to see them response through adversity.

The thought of Patrick Kane skating by Jeff Schultz scares me. I'm really hoping Willie or RR will be healthy soon.

Quennville will reach out, and apparently the message will be 'don't win 3 straight games'
