First 60 minute effort by the Kings in this post season, and it was glorious. May I have another? Game 6 is gonna be rough but if they put in the same effort and continue to punish the Sharks physically and on the forecheck I like our chances.

Quick had one shutout in the whole regular season, now he has three in the playoffs. Quite remarkable.

Full 60-minute game by EVERYONE and it was a masterpiece. The whole opposing team looked like they were gonna smash their sticks all night. Statement game by the champs. HAVE to keep it up and play that physically.

I hate to complain on such a great night but...

The officiating both ways has taken things to a new low in this league. It really is disturbing to me.

From the cheap seats at Staples:

A horribly-officiated game tonight. You guys know me, I defend the refs, perhaps a little too much, but man oh man did they miss a bunch of calls tonight. Easy-to-call calls too.

Someone said in the other thread the refs must be wearing teal underneath. I beg to differ...that is so wrong to accuse officials of corruption. I think it has to do more with incompetence myself. The refs, in particular, need training. the linesmen are just fine; then again, they don't have much responsibility, really.

A little historical note, for you youngsters: if you think this is bad, you should have seen how the games were officiated when they used to have only one referee out there!

Now, that was a bush league. Best thing they ever did was put two refs out there. Still, obviously, they miss a lot of calls. :/
