I think ferraro is still bitter about his brief time as a King in the mid-90's. That said, that was pretty ugly to watch.

Bad, bad, bad, bad.

What are they doing out there? The game isn't over by a long shot, but will someone please talk some sense into them in between periods. They are just getting dominated.

Only good news - only down by one goal.

The Sharks are aggressive and take initiative all over the ice. Pretty much the reverse of the 2012 playoffs. The Kings look both slow, small and inept in the faceoff circle.

But, only one goal down.

They Look tired, looked tired in the Blues series.

You can't manufacture Passion, Quick is about the only one that is caring right now.

This 1st line is beyond pathetic this whole series.

The Kings have the most bi-polar team I've ever seen, look at Williams he was the best skater on the ice for the Kings in the first round series and now he looks like he should be scratched.

Richards and Kopitar, you never know what you're going to get game to game. Richards looks like the best player on the ice one game and then has a period like we just saw where he looks like a JV cornercovering the all-state WR.

The only consistent is Quick.

Credit to the Sharks though, they are Fore checking Three to Four people, and outnumbering the Kings everywhere on the ice.

Kudos to the Sharks scouts, they have LA down pat.

On the brightside, only down by one after that travesty of a period. Still time to get it together and make it a game.

This game will turn around, regardless of whether we win or not.

King's presence on the second line is still baffling. Richards looks like a junior player out there. Kopitar is still milk carton status. This is just not going to get it done.

The Kings can still easily win this series because they're clutch and Quick is on his game, but this team is very much missing that mental gear they had last year. They simply look complacent.

Cup hangover, boys.

Time to shuffle the lines like I suggested in the pre-game thread.

Brown-Kopitar-Toffoli
Penner-Carter-Williams
Clifford-Richards-Lewis
King-Fraser-Richardson

I fully expect Sutter to go nuclear on them in the room after that debacle. I sure hope to **** that most of these guys are battling severe injuries...

I think he will do the opposite. Every single kings players knows that was a **** period. No reason to yell at them.

Can they play worse?

Bad News = San Jose looked great, dominated and came ready to play hockey : Kings looked like ****, slow, bad passing, bad decessions with the puck, turn overs, looked ready to go fishing or play golf.

The GOOD News = we're only down ONE Goal and there's 2 periods for the Kings to get their **** together.

Come on boyz, regain your focus and come home up 3-1 against these pretenders and wrap it up at home on Thursday.

Blues took a lot out of these guys as a whole, while the Sharks cake walked past the pathetic Canucks. I think they're just worn down to the point of no return...

What a ****** period. What was our time on attack? 10 seconds?

And that call on Doughty was pretty weak.

Nah, he slashed him. Two-hander to the wrist area when the guy is skating past him is a super easy call to make. I don't know why he did that.

Good news guys, I'm hearing that the Kings plane just landed in San Jose, they'll be at HP Pavillion in time for the second period.

Nerves are shot. Worst period the Kings have had in the playoffs in two years. Can't win if you have no offense to speak of. Props to the Sharts. Better figure this out quick boys. Stay out of the box please.

One thing is for certain, Richards is Thornton's (female dog).

And McLellan is just exploiting the hell out of the last change. He not only gets to cycle the puck at will, he keeps the Kings most dangerous scorer pinned down in the defensive zone.

Win or loss, the Kings need to take advantage of the last change at home.

Credit to the Sharks though, they are Fore checking Three to Four people, and outnumbering the Kings everywhere on the ice.

Kudos to the Sharks scouts, they have LA down pat.

Which is easy to beat if the kings could pass. They should have several outnumbered attacks if they stop passing to skates.

I realize why you guys want to switch Richards line off of Thorton's line but what's the alternative? The 1st line? They can't even score without that pressure on them.
