Well ... I think we weathered the expected early storm and traded chances with the Sharks in the first. Congrats to Toffoli on his first of many NHL playoffs goal to come. Kings need to pick it up as I think the Sharks will try to come out full steam again in the second, so I hope the boys are ready. Ellerby was good, and Pearson didn't look out of place at all in his first game ... I still like our chances against the Sharks ... Go Kings GO !!!

I thought the Kings played a really good road first period. Toffoli is a stud, Williams is a stud for getting up from that awesome hit by Stewart, and I really wonder about the hockey knowledge of the San José sharks crowd those people seem clueless - the call on the Richards trip was freakin' textbook, yet they chant 'refs you suck'.....LOL.

Toffoli's really showing flashes of just how good he's going to be. That goal was awesome and really picked the team up. Kings needed that ...

I thought Pearson played well to, has to be nervous being your 1st game in the SC playoffs.

I'm still trying find the reason king is still on the second line. He ****ed up three different breakouts in one shift.

I stopped counting after 3...Sutter is the only one who understands why he's there. And why can't he see that it's hindering that line.

according to tsn website kings won 12 out of 20 faceoffs id say thats a huge difference from last game.
