Jets were fortunate that Rinne didn't show up and Preds were fortunate for the refs. Hopefully the better team wins the next 40.

Jets need to play harder in the 2nd. I have a feeling 2 goals will not be enough tonight. They kinda let up after the 2 goal gift lead. Nashville are a great team and they will not go easy until there are triple zeros on the clock.
The dive that led to a goal gave the Preds a bit more jump in their step, Jets lost their legs a bit on the bench.

Gotta feel for Rinne.. goals were on him sure but man can those bad angle shots and bounces around the net be deadly especially at the start of a game. Never even got good shots to make saves on. And just like that the biggest game of the season is over for you.

No. The coach knows his goalie. People who've watched the Preds know their goalie. He's a choke artist. Pulling him when down 4-0, as you suggested earlier, does nothing. The game is over by then. It was clearly the right move because the Preds immediately responded with a goal. We've got a game now.
Then why start him in game-7?

Than trade him. I'm sure there are plenty if teams looking for a goalie of Rinnes Caliber. Buffalo comes to mind.

Somewhere nice
Sarros is better against the JETS than Rinne.

So JETS really need to clamp down now.

NO MORE PENALTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FAKE SUBBAN is really a pro at baiting other players. AND he is awesome on the power play.

Don't understand why JETS let him shoot. HE should be covered like Preds cover Laine.

This is a good game, no blow out or big lead.
Going down to the wire.

Lets go WHEELER, SCHIEFELE and BUFF

STASTNY is showing the way... follow....

GO JETS GO!!!!

should the preds put rinne back in to start the 2nd?

nope. Pekka has already let in 2 soft goals and is probably afraid of the shot right now and will over play his position and may give up more goals. Preds cant afford to give up goals; jets offense is second to none; if pekka is in net; Jets are gonna make it count

hockey has a huge mental toughness element to it; and pekka doesn't have it tonight

I just saw the goals Rinne let in. Wow, that was weak. No wonder he got pulled. Roenick says "That's just sad" about the first goal. Ouch

Not really. Was brutal in SCF last year. Guy doesn't have the big game gene. That's on him.

terrible penalty

those 2 goals took the life out of them and the refs go and hook them up

jets had all the momentum
