I tend to think that these expansion teams being good is a function of how much talent there is -- especially internationally now -- and the reality that a lot of NHL general managers are bad at their jobs.

I would be annoyed by the process and shittiness of my GM if my team was in the Pacific

Add to that, with the cap and top players taking up a healthy portion of it, teams can only pay so many decent guys.

She's been singing the anthems for like 20 years and has sounded like that for the last 12 or so.

The Wings kicked Karen Newman to the curb last year, she was trailing off but not as bad as that lady yet. We got some new young lady who can't really sing for shit.
