Vegas is the more physical team, but like you mentioned once they get down they play a completely different game than what makes them successful. It’s like they forget what makes them one of the best teams in the league and try to do everything differently. The tenacity and ability to smother the opponent makes them successful, they seem to forget that
Hits in the series are 175 - 127 Edmonton. Edmonton has been far more physical.

I know it's fine to be upset but what more could the refs have done last game? IMO they handled the on-ice events very well.. they would not have known that Pietrangelo would go chopping or Nurse would skate down for a fight.

The game misconducts they handed out to Yama/Kane and others trying to not play hockey was the best you could ask for.

IMO it was one of the better reffed games.

1. They called the spearing on Kostin a slash, minimizing a really dirty play.

2. They called Pietrangelo's play a slash instead of a what it should have been, a major for intent to injure. Let the blind mice at DOPS off the hook at least a little.

3. Gave Nurse the instigator penalty even though they knew damn well that Hague had been challenging Nurse to a fight for the last half of that game, and Nurse didn't "jump" him. This guaranteed that Nurse was suspended for an agreed to scrap in which he didn't really do anything wrong.

Those refs somewhat quietly made major in-game decisions that came down in favor of the Knights 3 times. They deserve heat for the bs way that it turned out.

Blessing in disguise that Nurse isnt playing. Addition by Subtraction.

Nurse is a negative value player, Oilers will be much much better tonight without him.

You must not watch Vegas or see why they are one of the better teams in the league.

Do you actually watch the games?
Dude just regurgitates whatever nonsense comes to his brain at the time. If a statistic disputes what he says, he shifts goalposts or says something vague like he did.

A single statistic about hitting doesn’t show a team is tougher  , but continue to be shook and continue to comment on me instead of the actual topic

It shows they’ve been more physical which is what was being discussed. It also shows significantly more than your statement which provided absolutely nothing for your argument.

I find a lot of your posts are just based on your feelings which really doesn’t count for much. Instead of shifting goal posts, show your work and make your argument.

Sure, let’s go with hits than 🤷‍♂️ , larger sample size than 4 games

Why would overall hits during the regular season be relevant in a discussion in a head to head playoff match-up between the Oilers vs Knights? Especially when the stats in the match-up are already showing the Oilers are outhitting the Knights by a fair margin. Do you believe those regular season stats take precedent or are more relevant over the head to head stats? If so, I understand your struggle.

Shifting goalposts again doesn’t make sense.

Regular season hits per game:

Vegas 23.17
Oilers 22.64

Playoff hits per game:

Oilers 40.06
Vegas: 36.72

This Series, hits per game:

Oilers 43.75
Vegas: 31.75

Basically a wash in the regular season, fairly close in playoffs overall and Edmonton is running them out of the rink in this series.

They've gone limp against the Oilers. Doesn't seem like the "more physical team" to me.

Edmonton has played more playoff games than Vegas. And I wouldn’t say limp when all 4 games have been blowouts, it’s not a secret that Vegas has completely deviated from the tighter game they play in both of those loses.

Dude.. those are PER GAME numbers. I get that you enjoy fighting with people on the internet but learn to take the L. Or at least read carefully.
