This season I would say it was above average, but If you take a larger sample size it’s still not been that good. And th guy who had fantastic seasons are also struggling now (Not McDrai)

Nuge and Hyman are struggling big-time so far. Kane to a lesser extent. But I definitely wouldn't call them bad depth. They're still solid top six players. The bottom six has been pretty good in my opinion. Even without points they're impacting the games in a good way. Guys like Kostin, Ryan, Foegele, Bjugstad have been noticeably good. At least in my opinion. Draisaitl has been amazing. McDavid by his own standards has been quite underwhelming I think.
Once again the defensive breakdowns coupled with shaky tending is doing them in again tonight. But after game 2, I'm not overly concerned. They can turn it on when they want which is half the problem. They don't seem to want to every single game, and that is on everyone, stars included. That and Jay Woodcroft comes across as an arrogant twat a lot too, which kinda bugs me lol.
Series gonna go 7 I think.
