He is completely right.

Somebody breaks Connors stride they get called, an Oiler completely takes out a Knight that never even touched the puck and that's just fine apparently. Joke double standard.
I'm talking about the other part.

Anyway there isn't a way to defend against mcdavid.

I think it's safe to say, at this point in their careers, Draisaitl is more dangerous. Your point is well taken though. You can't shadow Ovie because they'll just feed Oshie in the bumper instead.
One on one standing still at that location getting fed pucks, I would still take the older Ovechkin. Overall it’s Draisaitl though

It was “harder” but brief, whereas most are “softer” contact but often involve holding the player up a full second +

If he knocked McDavid down sure but I’m willing to bet we’ll see multiple allowed interference that results in an easy recovery this game and certainly series

You want to see soft interference calls, watch the NFL. That was totally not a soft interference call.

C'mon man that's literally the type of play that led to the clamp down on interference. That's what they don't want in the game.

Don't put it on the refs to make that call if you're a player. There's a way to play dump ins and that isn't it. I get it, it's McGoat and he probably panicked. It happens.
Idk man that happens all the time in my beer league where there’s supposed to be no body checking and less contact than the NHL and it’s rarely ever called lol, get that out of the game? You’re talkin as if that was a Trouba-like open ice hit lol. He didn’t even hit him, he just put his body between him and the boards.
