Why was that an absurd call? That's exactly the type of play officials have been letting go too much in playoffs.

Those plays need to be called interference and I'm glad they did. However, they do need to stick to it all the time.

I have no skin in this game but that's clear cut interference.

Minimal contact and just closing off the boards as he was reaching for a puck, im not one to ever blame the refs for a loss and I always argue with my fellow Ranger fans about refs screwing us. But that call was definitely a weak call for the playoffs. Borderline for the regular season imo.

I think it's safe to say, at this point in their careers, Draisaitl is more dangerous. Your point is well taken though. You can't shadow Ovie because they'll just feed Oshie in the bumper instead.

C'mon man that's literally the type of play that led to the clamp down on interference. That's what they don't want in the game.

Don't put it on the refs to make that call if you're a player. There's a way to play dump ins and that isn't it. I get it, it's McGoat and he probably panicked. It happens.

It’s such an arbitrary difference in decisions from the refs with the same result on the play if let go


If he knocked McDavid down sure but I’m willing to bet we’ll see multiple allowed interference that results in an easy recovery this game and certainly series
