Posters like you are the reason I keep coming back to the mains.

The others are the reason I keep getting infracted on the mains.

I wanna hate you guys but my childhood team is the Ducks. We're halfway through a decade of ass so I totally get the hype you guys have right now.

And it's gotta be something special to be the fans behind McDrai. As a fan of the game, turning off my Vegas/Anaheim brain, you guys deserve the joy right now. I still hope we win, but I'm not gonna lose sleep if Edmonton goes all the way.

Yeah me too. I used to go to a driving range in the Edmonton river valley and I used to damn near pick off ball picker. Get my on a course and I am a totally spray hitter.

But my reference to the golf course was about the commentary to the Knights still being on the greens. :)
Lol I got you.

Yeah mid afternoon games are a VGK kryptonite.

Oilers looked good but just remember, the last team to win 5-1 in Vegas in the playoffs lost the next 4 straight.

Leafs didn't get to play 2 teams with backup goalies. Neither one of these goalies started 40 games in a season in their NHL career, even Skinner has.

The West is playing for a SCF loss.
The Leafs have Washington's backup goalie as their starter and they beat the team with the 'starting goalie'.

Definitely some holes in your logic.

I always wonder how people can dislike players so much because of the teams they play on, and spend so much time trying to bring them down instead of just taking it in.

Just as a straight up hockey fan I'm so thankful that I get to see these guys do their thing. It really is a joy to watch. The same goes for a lot of other players across the league. With all the young talent in the NHL I think we all win, regardless of who loses.

Yup, this game doesn’t mean $hit except the series is tied 1-1. It could easily go the other way Monday night. Oiler’s fans need to pipe down a bit and wait another game or two before anointing themselves Stanley Cup Champs based on one game in the second round.

Hey and for real. Oil fans, we butt heads a little bit but it wasn't as bad as when Anaheim played Edmonton when you know what happened.

Most of you have been a pleasure to talk to through two games. Enjoy the dub tonight. If it was me I'd be stuck on the strip celebrating at 8 different bars. Well deserved win by your boys. :thumbu:
GG. Good to get the split, but its gonna be a long series. Vegas is legit, hopefully we can stay focused. I think most of the poop flinging is Oiler fans vs Oiler trolls. Knights and Oiler fans seem to get along much better than Kings and Oiler fans lmao

This isn't the Winnipeg Jets 🤣

Vegas will feel that city thunder when they step into Roger's then when the Oilers step in with like all that offense and speed. Vegas isn't running away with anything.

Yeah I think the booze in my system is letting the "fan of the game" win out over the "fan of the team" right now, but I really feel privileged to have seen McDavid do his thing live. And I'd argue that probably wasn't his best either. But no rose colored glasses on you see the way he controls the game and there's no question to anyone objective who the best hockey player in the world is right now.

I did feel like Vegas marked Drai pretty well tonight as one of the few positives but 97 was always a stomach sinking threat. Every time he had the puck. Doesn't matter if he's on the opposing team. It's a beautiful thing to watch him play the sport.
