Skinner need to stay in his net.
Or we get momentum by killing it!Watch Vegas get a goal off of this and then EDM will be on their heels or something. lol
Leaves way too much and for pucks that don’t need a goalies touch.Skinner should just stay in his net
He leaves it too much
Yeah... admit it is annoying af to hear the constant harping on about this from others. Not me. Have become a big fan of Draisaitl's game. You must be the only Avs fan who doesn't hate the Oilers.
His puckhandling is pretty terrible. Good think he now has a strong stick. lol.Skinner should just stay in his net
He leaves it too much
The combo of these last few minutes anywayThis is the real answer.
He just has 20% of the time where I feel he misjudges the play. But he is a rookie goalie.I've heard this a lot, but I think a goalie like Skinner relies on playing the puck to get a feel for it early on. I also think a lot of the Oilers defence relies on an aggressive goalie willing to play the puck.
Players are fast enough now that you probably don't need the rule. Goalies aren't gonna go into the corners these days.So ... the trapezoid. Help me understand why it's needed. A big problem with the officiating today is the NHL overcomplicating its rule book with mindless stuff like this and so many soft, subjective call types of penalties.
It was made because of Brodeur. And only after he got all his cups lolSo ... the trapezoid. Help me understand why it's needed. A big problem with the officiating today is the NHL overcomplicating its rule book with mindless stuff like this and so many soft, subjective call types of penalties.
Goalies used to get the puck and skate around with it and then got in trouble and hurt etc. At least if I remember. It has been years. lolSo ... the trapezoid. Help me understand why it's needed.
