Skinner tends to let in some weak goals and it's happening too often. On the flip side, our D also screw him over

All in all, he is young. Shouldn't be thrown in so fast. Held his own, but not a guy who is stealing you any games like grubauer or Samsanov did in round one

I don't trust either goalie in this run and our D. We have to out score our problems

I'll say this, goalies are voodoo.

Otter gave up 4 in the 1st then locked it down and still lost.
Grubauer, Bobrovsky, and Korpisalo were rancid during the season and then have turned it on for playoffs.
I live in Toronto and as a result watch a lot of Leafs hockey. Samsonov is eerily similar to Skinner tbh.

In the playoffs, the margins are so fine, the sample size is so limited, so trying to anticipate goaltending performances outside of true vezina calibre goalies is folly.
