That goal is definitely on him, he turned the puck over and didn't give any effort to get back.

Cleary at least skated to get back, he covered the wrong guy, but at least he was covering someone.

Yeah Smith getting a hook up in his hands and then shouldered before the puck gets there is a part of it. Guess he should have snapped his head up and pretended to be shot. Oh well, nobody is mistake free in this game. I thought his play was actually much better from last game.

Our forwards still need to be way more available then they have been. We need to start forechecking and being more aggressive. Our D will continue to look bad, the game is running downhill at them, the ice is tilted a lot and the forwards need to help do their part.

It was a 3 on 2 that got broken up. Scoring chance didn't happen til Cleary messed up.

Obviously Smith has to make a stronger play initially. He made a lot of strong plays that period though.

lol there has been 1 goal scored, and hes at fault....so I would say that's a start to having a bad game. People like you are just gonna defend players they like no matter what happens, so no sense in discussing it with you. Smith is an all-star. Top 5 D in the NHL...better yet, top 5 player in the NHL. He deserves 9 million in the off season.
