I see we're back to basics... Try and pass puck into net -> Slow movement through neutral zone -> Pass to winger -> Winger pressed to the boards -> Winger coughs up puck -> other team marches down ice....

He shows no promise whatsoever.... it's Joakim Anderssons rookie season as well and he has 100 times the hockey IQ Smith does. For Christ sake DeKeyser came right from college and fit in, Smith looks way out of his league.

We looked better so far in this game than game 1, but they lead 1-0. We struggle to score vs them.
Smith is killing us. People complained about Lashoff, but is Smith any better?

and Hossa is such a fairy. One of the biggest divers in the league

we've been unlucky so far. hawks deserved to cane us in game 1 and only howard kept us in it until midway through the 3rd. however, today we have much more jump, datsyuk's come to play and things have gone well - apart form the score of course....

still, keep this up for the next 40 minutes and i'm semi-optimistic.
