We should have the match-up advantage, Preds generate most goals from the Forsberg, O'Reilly, Nyquist line and we should be able to match either the Miller or Lindholm lines on that unit. Hopefully giving Pettersson easier match-ups. The Preds do generate 5-on-5 scoring chances at a much greater rate on average than the Canucks though.

The real risk is Soros goes absolutely mental, but hopefully Demko can match anything he does.

honestly i’d match petey’s line against nashville’s top line and watch him battle them to a standstill.

that frees jt’s line and lindholm with joshua and garland to score against their lower lines

Got a weird feeling Mikheyev's gonna be the one to open the scoring for the Canucks this postseason
same here. the canucks bottom 6 will be the stars IMO if miller petey get shutdown. lindholm garland joshua hoglander will be too much for the predators to handle. josi/hughes matchup a wash. goalies; even.

So I just checked the 1st round schedule and NONE of the first four games will be aired on CBC? Are you serious?

I’m guessing Cuthbert and Simpson are Toronto, Singh and DeBrusk are Edmonton - that should hopefully leave us with Shorthouse and either Tomlinson or Ferraro (I doubt it’s Ferraro, I think he’s on ESPN duty in Colorado).

Would be great if they could bring Garrett back for Round 1.

Ferraro is a no go due to his contract stipulating regional games only.

Kinda sad that we won't get to see Carrie Underwood cry like we did the last time we beat Nashville in the playoffs.

Wonder what the Canucks plan is for the Forsberg line.

I'd imagine Miller gets matched up head to head with them. Especially since O'Reilly's pretty strong in the faceoff dot.

Do they go with Hughes/Hronek against the big line?

I say play best on best, try to get EP’s line on line 2 with Sissons, he’s a pain in the ass but I don’t think his wingers are up to snuff.

When do you think they will unveil the secret PP theyve been saving for the playoffs?
When do you think EP with flip THE SWITCH?
