Oh I disagree that he chilled out. Marchment was running around the entire 3rd. The reason Necas caught him up high is Marchment chased him back down the entire length of the ice to hit him.
Fair enough. Always hard to tell live... especially when one decides to double-fist some burrs--since you know... they stop serving after the 2nd intermission.

#rationing

Not sure if they caught it during the telecast, but during the game, Gabe went over to Marchment 2 or 3 times between whistles and had a little chat. He seemed to chill out a bit more from his normal dirty antics, although the game was pretty well settled at that point.

Butttt... just another thing we've been missing in the lineup for 3 years.

I think the message is we will take you out. Who hit Marchment in game 4? Nuke was one that gave him the business. Necas was another. Who else? Kelly maybe. Marchment has a target on him.

Keep attacking Bischel, too. The guy looked like an absolute deer in headlights against the Avs forecheck on Saturday. He just can't move the puck fast enough to get out of trouble.
Kivi pasting him in Game 3 had a great impact. I think he's also getting a little rattled to see guys 6 inches shorter than him going at him so heavily during the scrums. He's probably used to guys (or rather, kids) simply being afraid of him due to his size. Being 6'7 (or in the case of Marchment, 6'5) doesn't automatically make one actually tough.

Oh no doubt they need to attack all of them as they are all prone to mistakes except for Harley and Lindell. I was saying Harley specifically because he is their main puck mover. If you neutralize him their zone exit is basically non-existent.

On what planet is Ceci placed over Harley... Good for us, I guess
They want (I assume) to free Harley up to create offense and maybe lighten the load on him, as he's been logging around 30 minutes a night. I suppose if your goal is to slog it up, that top pairing is probably the best possible choice, but the Avs need to attack the SHIT outta that pairing.

I think I am more nervous for the outcome of this game today after seeing how they played last game. Shouldn't be after watching that but the fact Dallas will in all likely hood pick up their play and worrying that we go back to the way we played the first three games. Hopefully, they prove me wrong and dominate the same as game 4.

Time to put the work in.

We know the Avs can exert the will at times. This game needs to be as close to 60 minutes of determination and attention to detail as we can get. No shortcuts... work harder than Dallas. Get to pucks first and win all the board battles.

Don't know about y'all, but I've got butterflies, ah..... never mind that was just gas. Anyways, it should be a heck of a game tonight. I'm reallly looking forward to Blackwood's performance. For a guy that's never played in the playoffs before, he exudes a lot of calm, confidence. Just a big, lovable, security blanket in net.

Went to my nephews hockey game.. 8U age group.. they were doing the most ridiculous goal celebrating after each goal I almost puked.. going on one knee and everything where do they get this shit from!!
