I'm not blaming officiating, but for me it has been extremely frustrating to watch this year compared to other years.

I'll let the O'Reilly cross check go since it wasn't a particular good call we got. But then you got some player you give them a love tap and BOOM they go flying. Then they are some stuff that are beyond obvious and they just let them go then call weak slash or weak cross check.

I understand you have to call stuff, but this year seems more and more like they have some extremely weak stuff compared to other years.

Minnesota flat out played harder in the last 10 minutes of the period. Then seems like anytime we do have a breakout, we either pass it behind the streaking player or right to a minny stick.

Parayko has to freakin nut up too. Not much of an attempt to block the first pp goal and then gets out worked for a loose puck that eventually leads to the second.

I'll never understand the want for Parayko to be Pronger 2.0. If he was he be suspended every other game in the current NHL.

Ugh I’m working and was going to sneak to watch the game downstairs but when I do it doesn’t look good. Maybe I can’t really comment if I’m not giving it my undivided attention, but the hits… I feel like we should be doing more and giving it our all, but it doesn’t look like we are. Didn’t seem like the guys have the passion to take this one. I hope the other 2 periods have a different feel.

i dont think it a coincidence that the refs are calling so much soft crap when they got a new tv deal this year and its the first playoffs on the new deal

league always wants more scoring and shit to bring in casuals and no better way to get scoring up than PP fests nonstop on national tv broadcasts.

Last playoffs against the refalanche one could argue was a lot worse than this series.

Perron-RoR-Schenn-Kyrou have been good the past game+one period. The Buch-Barbie-Tarasenko line has been suffocated. They really need to get it going tho. Saad has flashes when it's just him and Kyrou, but Thomas has been suffocated all series while not making very good plays at the same time.

Kyrou just got blasted.

I wish he were a LOT stronger on his skates. He needs to get stronger and somewhat heavier, enough to help hold his own with bigger players, but not so much that his speed or agility will be affected. He also needs to learn about positioning,and adjusting body position and using momentum, and about body leverage. He's been disappointing in those areas, probably because he was spending all his time on the puck skills aspects of the game. You can get away with being weak in those areas as a highly skilled player in the lower levels, but The NHL is a different matter, altogether. And I'm tired of Parayko not using his size.
