The only player to show up tonight was Quick. The offense sucks, the defense sucks, the special teams sucks. Lombardi is going to have his hands full this summer.

Specialty teams are night and day tonight. Have we even had a good look on our pp or was everything blocked from the point? SJ has had either shots get through or wide open shots that don't go high and wide.

This is the unique situation where I think everyone is to blame, the players, the coaches, and Lombardi

Totally agree, also saw something posted earlier about how we grind and grit and others are speed and skill yup been saying that for years that the game is evolving . But we stay behind

I'm at peace with losing this series. Maybe it will finally wake the organization up from their post-2014 slumber.

Me too. We have too many issue and if we by some MIRACLE get passed the Sharks, we'll be slaughtered in the second round. Dean has a lot of trash to throw out.

They need to start getting some youth on the backend. Get Gravel and Forbort into the top 6, let Schenn & McBain walk. Scuderi becomes the 7th d-man. Get rid of King & Lewis, replace them with Mersch & Dowd. Start moving out the declining veterans that are easily replaced.

Just when you think McNabb and Scuderi can't play any worse than they did the game before, they find a way to surprise you.

King isn't cutting it on the first line, nor is Gaborik. The best line is getting the least amount of playtime.

For some odd reason not that I don't care but I agree. It's time to retool this team has been effed big time by the Voynov issue and the vanishing of Mike Richards. I thought our Depth was defense but now it's the biggest issue.

Last game our breakouts were good and generated space . Tonight , other than the first half of the first period, it has sucked balls. Everyone gone stupid tonight.

I wanna say the team needs big changes this summer what can you do about top players not showing up these playoffs?

This.

Defensive depth is an issue to be fixed in the offseason, but our biggest issue in this series is our top players just getting flat out trucked by the Sharks' top players.

They definitely need to clean up the lineup and retool.

I'm completely on board with this route. They need to groom these guys to play at this level. The only position that is safe right now is in net, but they have to address the lack of depth in that position as well.

This offseason will be more interesting than these playoffs.

So frustrating watching this game. Sure, the Sharks are playing well, but I'm so disappointed in the Kings. Two PP's and not much pressure or shots mounted. Can't get the shots through, so we won't be scoring.

Total fail on the PK on the first two. If the Kings can keep Pavelski, Thornton, and Burns in relatively decent check, then we have a chance. That just isn't the case in this series. They are annihilating us.

I wanna say it is as simple as the Sharks best players have outplayed the Kings best players. But I think most of the problems stem from poor breakout passing from their defensive end and poor pinching to keep the puck alive in the offensive end.

It's not a 2014 slumber. The Kings just don't have that great a roster, especially on defense. Bad luck, bad picks, bad trades have us where we are.

I the last three years we've lost a young 2nd pairing RH defender on a great contract for nothing, a guy who was previously one of the best 2nd line centers in the NHL turned into a fringe NHL player and a guy who was a 25 goal, 60 point physical beast turned into a 25 point fourth liner.
