Interesting that both games the Avs won weren't super close. Game 1 was closer than the score indicated but the Avs still were better and tonight wasn't even remotely close. The 2 losses were super close and could have gone either way.

No I think he legitimately just forfeited the final period
If DeBoer actually quit in a 3-0 playoff game, with the entire third period to play, he's the worst coach in the league. What a terrible message to send his team.
For the regular season I think Middleton is a fine #7 honestly.
He also only makes $775 which is actually $50k less then league minimum contracts next year, so I'd bet money on him being the #7D as we'll need every dime we can get next year.
Ultimately I dont think we're going to be able to keep Lindgren though.

Nelson looked better and better as the game went on tonight. Landeskog elevated that entire line but even on his own Nelson was a lot more engaged and noticeable.

I think in game 3 the emotions of Landy coming back, 1st game and everything got in a way of them playing their game. Completely a different team tonight

What is frightening for the Stars is that this was the best the Avs have looked all season and they were motivated.

That was my thought too. This is the Avs team we need to see because if they keep playing like this I like our chances.
Also I think any concerns about Lando can be squashed. He looks like he hasn't missed a beat.
