Edmonton has taken undisciplined and sloppy penalties that are the correct calls, easy calls, in both games... it's not hard to understand.

You realize if you're just complaining about the disparity that you're literally asking for game management....... probably the most complained about thing on this board.

I disagree. Game management is: make up calls, ticky-tack calls, phantom calls to have the powerplays equal or within one of each other.

LA isn't playing penalty-free hockey. The refs are choosing not to call them for anything.

Oilers need to learn to overcome this kind of stuff to become champions. So what if L.A came back. Dominate the third and score three goals, This is the way.

I expect the Oilers still win but this two game set is just opening up the Kings for confidence. They know they are in any game no matter what the score is. Oilers doing themselves no favors as usual.

It's both, brain dead penalties and poor goaltending. He shouldn't be absolved of blame because he's a rookie. He's an NHL goalie getting paid millions, do your job.

So basically he needs to pitch a shutout? He’s made a bunch of high quality saves. He’s got about $50M of highly paid players, playing like complete garbage infront of him making his job twice as hard as it should be. Even during the intermission they showed multiple point blank one timer saves that were as good or better than anything Korpi has done tonight. Oilers got worked that period.
