I have a very healthy respect for many LA King's. It was a bad start for them but they are better than this. I've also been mocked steadily for this but Rittich is over .920 this season. Try him! He's a huge part of why they made the playoffs.

But guys like Doughty, Kempe, Arvidson, Byfield and Danault are all excellent players. This won't be a sweep. At least 6 games IMO. Look at the Leafs and their comeback after Game 1 tonight and that was without 98 point Nylander!

Doughty isn't the same as he was a few years ago, and Kopitar is a shadow of his former self.


I don't doubt LA can win a game or 2.

It's the playoffs, and attrition is a very real thing.

Which is why they need to run the clock in Edmonton.

He's a net front specialist that fits the team. Nothing wrong with that. He stays pretty healthy, and that's a plus
His numbers this year may not be repeated next season, but I would say you are wrong on the bang for the buck his presence provides.
