Other goalies are in the AHL playoffs. This is just making sure we don’t have a principal in net if both our goalies go down.

I don’t know. If you are hard on him every time he touches the puck I can see him turning into a complete non factor. Also, let PLD sleep if he wants to sleep. Don’t wake his ass up by getting him angry. Don’t poke the bear. He’s more than capable of just sleeping this series away. Let him.
All of their 5v5 advanced stats are top 5 in the league, and they're #1 in a lot of categories. If their power play goes supernova like last playoffs they should steam roll. They were an average 5v5 team last year, but this year they're an elite 5v5 team.Agree... last year we were 5th in shots for and 14th in shots against. This year we are 1st in shots for and 4th in shots against.
When has PLD ever got "mad". He rarely likes getting into the rough stuff and hates going to dirty areas to take a hit to make a play. I think being physical on him is absolutely the right thing to do.Also, let PLD sleep if he wants to sleep. Don’t wake his ass up by getting him angry. Don’t poke the bear. Historically he's been a pretty impactful skater in the playoffs. He ramps up the hitting in the postseason and has some pretty decent production.I don’t know. If you are hard on him every time he touches the puck I can see him turning into a complete non factor.
I think supportive play is the most important thing. Skinner will be just fine if the forwards do a good job supporting the D and limiting neutral zone space on the back check. They are capable of it, but they get lazy at times. If they can dial it in for 2 months this team can go all the way. The way Knoblauch rolls 4 lines should keep guys more engaged so there's no excuse for everyone to not be going 100%. If they aren't there's 2 or 3 guys sitting in the press box who will get that opportunity.Oilers skaters will outplay the Kings skaters no problem.
Keys to the series are discipline and solid goaltending.
In one of our games against LA this year. Prior to the game PLD was getting trashed by the Kings fanbase for being invisible. Someone on our team took a run at PLD, I think it was Kane. PLD then looked more engaged and scored a PP goal shortly thereafter. When has PLD ever got "mad". If we can hurt him. But he’s a pretty big dude. He seems to be an emotional player and has trouble getting up for games consistently. I think getting him angry and hateful would probably wake him up. Maybe he does anyways though for the playoffs. Buts he’s an X factor for the Kings that we haven’t experienced in the playoffs before.I don’t know. Oil were extremely close to going down 3-1 against LA last year before a late goal from Kane and Hymans OT winner.
Don't take them lightly, they're an annoying team.
PLD is still a lesser Ryan Johansen. A guy who gets by on talent with the least effort as possible. He's long down the list of players I'm worried about in this series. In one of our games against LA this year. Prior to the game PLD was getting trashed by the Kings fanbase for being invisible. This is an exaggeration. The player they sent out in Villardi is every bit as good as PLD if not better, he's just injury prone. Iaffalo was also pretty annoying for us in past playoffs. If we can hurt him. But he’s a pretty big dude. He seems to be an emotional player and has trouble getting up for games consistently. Its unreal. Here is another stat I just found out last week. We are the highest taxed thru Income Tax in North America. We now lose over 1/2 our paycheque thru some kind of tax. I feel for young people buying houses nowMarch 2024:
I really noticed the prices, particularly on the peninsula when I was visiting my folks in March, Lower salaries, higher taxes... with higher home prices? Brutal for the average Nova Scotian.
- Halifax average: $564,562

hes got mad twice and demanded trades lolWhen has PLD ever got "mad". He rarely likes getting into the rough stuff and hates going to dirty areas to take a hit to make a play. I think being physical on him is absolutely the right thing to do.
I don’t doubt it regarding Villardi. But there is alleged playoffs version of PLD that can be a totally different beast. I hope we don’t see that version. This is an exaggeration.
