Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. I expect a split, both of these teams respond pretty well to losses, so I don't think we will see a 2-0 for anyone headed back to EDM. I'm very worried about game three though, our game 3 vs Van was a debacle of failed goaltending and general sloppiness. Going to get wrecked if they show up at home like that against this DAL team.

Vegas managed to pull it off.......it's not impossible.

Feels like the Stars will come out slow tonight after the long rest, dig themselves a hole, then become the better team in the 3rd period but come up short, as per usual in game 1's (except the Colorado series where we just blew a 3 goal lead).

Dallas lost Game 1 in both series prior to this one.....if they lose tonight I can't say I'd be too worried.
Enjoy the ride Oilers & Stars, our house likes both organizations, players, and such. So either team making SCF's is cool-beans, but it kinda stinks when series doesn't have Good -vs- Bad environment going on.
We've got two teams, Stars and Oilers, who've been knocking on 'Stanley Cups" door lately. Now both have another opportunity before window maybe closing up. Should make for an interesting series where players are giving it their all. Oilers should have little playoff confidence mojo under their wings after reaching 2 WCF's in 3 yrs, now they've got to finish the deal. Same with Stars, this group has made SCF's and now WCF's lately, now it's their moment too. Guessing this could make for a good series indeeed. Plus, we fans should habe a more compeditve match-up considering both teams have decent having depth. Hope so, these first two NHL playoff rounds have been aweful. Here's to a hard fought, everyone healthy, and a series where players decide outcomes.

Not gonna lie, I completely forgot that Edmonton somehow is equally as awful in game 1s as we are, and it gave me a little boost of energy
