My throat closes up whenever Greene touches the puck. Plus he's so slow out there. If we get to the SC Final, he's going to struggle with the East's speed. At least Scultz has a monster reach to compensate for the cement on his skates. I'd prefer Regher over both of them if he becomes a real option. That is the million dolllar question my brother from another mother. I think "no" unless Greene runs out of gas.
I think we are closer to seeing Regher than Shultz.
p.s. I only responded because you said pls. Please would have been a deal breaker

I think that was probably the most aggravating thing from the game last night. Realistically, Chicago was expected to win this game. Hell, they were up 2-0, and 3-1, and they were certainly on their way to defending their home ice again. When Pearson buried the go-ahead goal, a lot of the mentality changed and we probably all forgot we came from behind to get the lead.
At the end of the day though, whether it be a blowout or 2OT game, they won in a building where they don't lose very often at all. Kings still confident and ready to go, and now have a great opportunity back at Staples based off the hard work. Adjustments from Sutter (no more track meet hockey) plus last change and the home crowd give us a very nice opportunity on Friday.
What am I supposed to do for the next 31.5 hours?
I didn't get to see the whole game, but from what I saw, it looked like it wasn't so much Quick, but that Chicago was beating us to every rebound. Quick takes the first shot, defense needs to limit any and all secondary chances. You could clearly see Chicago's shooting strategy was to shoot it right along the ice so Quick couldn't hold onto it. The far side guy was streaking towards the net on every shot. Seems like the defense needed to be the first to the puck and they weren't on several occasions.
What's good about this, is that this is an easier adjustment for us to make on defense. Chicago still has no answer for our offense (who would have thought we would ever say that with a straight face). That and our home ice line matchups bodes well for us if we put in the same work ethic.
Start by having a look at this profile of Darryl Sutter via TSN. Some interesting stuff on him.
Didn't know where else to put this.
The Most Interesting Man in the World (of Hockey)

It was both. I think we can all see by now when Quick is in it, and when he's not. When there's too much athlete, and not enough goalie. It's a fine line. He still makes the crazy save, but the easy ones look tougher than they should. Like that one save where he was in the net last night. That's not Quick when he's playing well.
Strangely, no. A bit nervous, but reasonably confident the Kings would win. Going up 3-0 in every series does something for your confidence. That and the Devils not being the freakin' Blackhawks.
Got a call from my brother. So my second playoff game is gonna be game 6 of the WCF... All my nerves.
Without mistakes, no goals would be scored. We would be looking at 0-0 ties.
Did not expect a win and felt after Game 2 that this whole series would come down to Game 6; however, I feel worse today than if the Hawks won last night going away as opposed to being one period and then one goal away from the Finals.
Doesn't change anything about Game 6 and the players on this team have proven to be much more resilient than us fans, but that terrible feeling is seeping in that we'll all look back at this game on Monday and wonder what could have been: just ask the Detroit Red Wings.
Saad has been the most dangerous forward in the series IMO so seeing that new 2nd line for the Hawks worried me and, as seen last night, rightfully so. This is definitely a worry moving forward.
Hawks have total confidence as Champs and for coming back from 3-1 last season while LA has the same confidence in their game. Two great teams that are going to have a "who's got the biggest" contest the next two (hopefully only one) games. Friday is going to be an intense day for sure.
In response to Ziggy about Game 6 against NJ: hell yes I was worried! That series was very close score-wise so the thought of going back to NJ for a Game 7 and possibly pissing away the Cup after being up 3-0 was extremely nerve-wracking. Thank goodness they dropped the 3 goals early so I could breathe.
I have the same feeling about tomorrow now since they were so damn close to punching their ticket for the Finals last night. You can't miss on too many opportunities to put away the Blackhawks.
I woke up pretty upset over last night's results. Then I took some man pills with my breakfast this morning and I'm fine now. On to Game 6.
Quick needs to be consistent. Paging 2011 quick
Are we in trouble now with the Saad-Shaw-Kane line??
And please if you want to ignore me or my questions please tell my what the **** I have done wrong, send me a pm whatever. I consider my self as ..well a good normal guy.
but most of the time it feels or looks like I have been blocked out by most of the people on this board and I have no ****ing idea of why that should have happened or is my timing just ridiculous bad. I've been reading this board for so long that I know what is appropriate or not but still I have this feeling that I have stepped ...no wait crushed some toes for a lot of people on this board. I just don't get it. Me sensitive? Nope.
My questions lousy maybe? I got more conversations or what you call it outside this board HF Lakingsboard, coincidence? Don't think so. Is it my wording or spelling? Do I come out as a low intelligent person? I have seen a bunch of those here as well, they don't seem to get ignored.
As I said I don't get it what the **** am I doing wrong?
Are the Hawks in trouble with the Kopitar/Gaborik/Brown line?
POTD![]()
I'm confused. This is your only post in this thread from what I can tell. How are you being ignored?
And no, I'm personally not worried about Saad-Shaw-Kane. Chicago is a beast at home and we came close to winning all three games. Although we only got one, I like our chances on Friday.
Post of the Year candidate.
Not trying to troll but grow a sack.
KIngs will be fine tomorrow. Chi is a different team at home vs the road. If it was said kings would have home ice going into game 6 with a chance to close it out you take it every single time.
They will hold chicago to 2 goals quick will be better, and They will win 5 to 2. Book it!
To DocWest:
This has been going on for quite some time and is spread over many threads.
To the other guy:
No, this is not a get sack thing. This is what the heck is going on thing?
Or the Carter line...
We will find out who the better team is. It may take 6, it may take 7, but that question will get answered.
People aren't actively ignoring you. Hell if I counted up all of the posts I've made over the years that no one replied to, it'd be in the hundreds. Don't worry about it. It's nothing personal.
Posted before the game and on several other occasions and believe me I wouldn't post this for something that happened a couple of times.
Watching a replay of Game 5 between Montreal and New York, last night's game felt like a carbon copy. Save for the way the game was decided, the home team came out firing and both goalies look susceptible.
I don't think so, because it's a home game and Sutter gets last change. Unlike last night, he'll have Doughty on Kane and DD will take care of that.
Wasn't Shaw hurt last night, some knee/leg thing on a board incident. If he does play, I hope the Kings pound him before he takes another cheap shot and hurts somebody.
I really doubt any one ignoring you, but if you want more attention, be like Reclamation, he's an attention *****.
![]()
Hey buddy, you have some pills left for alpa ? He's not feeling well either.
Shaw is a *****. For the way he went down you thought he sustained a heavy injury. But then he got on the ice and played again.
Just to clarify things. If i feel ignored I stop posting. If more people feels like I do, do they also stop posting? Then what happens next? This group of posters get smaller and it isn't to hard to see the downside with that.
Now that line is worrying me because Sutter will match with all lines except Kopi's or could he have something up his sleeve and counterpunch.?
Friend, I also hardy get quoted and that for 11 years already. That could mean two things.
Everybody agrees with you or indeed...nobody cares about you.![]()
God damnit, just... damnit.. Didn't expect the Hawks to go without a fight, but we've got 2 more tries to close this thing. Do it Friday, please.
I care about you Garry.
Is the consensus that Sutter is a genius or has some head-scratchers during home games, I don't know?
I love reading posts with hockey analysis, but because I don't feel that my knowledge is that deep about the game, I usually only respond to posts that strike me as funny or quirky. I leave the answering of most hockey questions to others.
Ohh Noo! To much work.
Thats very kind.![]()
Nobody responds or quotes me and I've been posting for 11 years. I just drop some knowledge and then drop the mic like Eddy Murphy and move on.
Somebody quote me. I like the way it feels. lol
They don't have to care about me JUST ANSWER THE ****ING QUESTION
LOL!
And I don't think we are in trouble with that line at all. They won't get to pick apart the 4th line at home. It's nice line they've put together, but it also weakens their depth. It'll make things tighter between both top-6s, but I don't think they did anything we can't handle, most of it was simple shots-rebounds that we lacked focus on.
You're a dirty, dirty man.
This might be the best PGT ever![]()
only if you quote me back baby!
Awwwww yisssss! My street cred just went up 10 points.
Bros before hoes.
That is the thing. there is so many knowledgeable people here, hell I have learn a lot just being here reading about the game and how it is played, tactics that I never knew existed and I could go on and on. So when I see something that I can't figure out then I ask those who can and they are right here.
Have you tried quoting someone else first? Most people will respond to being quoted. Besides, you really can't be too thin skinned if you want to post here. Heck, I say close to 70% of my posts goes without a response. You just have to be thick skinned and move on, or just kick the hell out of the dog. That's what dogs are there for, amirite?![]()
Yup, you're now at 11.
true lol.
" I dont know what it means but it's provocative."
I take it back. This thread has taken a dark, dark turn.
I really wish I would have recorded the first OT last night...maybe some of the best hockey I've ever seen.
Which puts him 568 points ahead of you.
I am thinking about having a game watch with strippers at my kennel/Man Cave on Friday., but I am only going to invite people that have quoted me before this post.

Somethings missing but I can't put my finger on it lol.
I don't trust him, he took a few shots at Kings last night and in the past. Everytime he's out there I have a fear that he's got a King lined up in his gunsights. And I wouldn't put it past him to take a run at somebody tomorrow night .
Good! You've made a mess of this thread. Grab a broom and a mop.

My question with viagra has always been the disclaimer "If it lasts for more than four hours, you should seek medical attention"
After four hours...wouldn't your partner be the one needing medical attention?
I have a comment to that but it's not in the best of taste.![]()
They have to drain the blood from your penis with a needle. I saw it on a TV show once and TV doesn't lie.
After 4 hours you need to save Willy again and again again again...
Kings fans are classless. So comment away!
I guess if you take it with breakfast, it would cut it down to 3.5 hours...

As they should be. Stoll's line was on the ice for the game tying goal. You also have to think that Mitchell/Voynov pairing also gets the brunt of the criticism for their poor play last night.
Will we see Schultz again this postseason or will he only play if there is an injury. I trust him more than Greene.

Man, some of you guys must've been a mess when the Kings went from being up 3-0 in the 2012 Cup Final to 3-2 in the series heading into Game 6.
This team knows how to perform in high pressure situations. They've had their backs against the wall, they know how Chicago will come out flying just as they did in the past two games. So long as Quick plays better, they can seal this series at home.
Now that his how you troll a thread RC!
