We had a good start, then screwed around too much giving the puck away and letting the Hawks control the play the second half of the period. Being down by 1 isn;t too bad.

Yes. I think his confidence is a bit dinged from last game and giving up the early goal didn't help. We certainly need more shot and traffic in front of him.

Not a good period but this team is resilient so not overly concerned.

Sutter, give your noodle a shake and play the right line match ups.

Too many mishandled plays by the Kings, Williams mishandling the puck led to the first goal, over skating and missing players that should have been covered led to the 2nd Hawks goal. Kings need to step it up with their breakouts and passes, spent to much time looking for the perfect play to get out of their zone.

I didn't think that first period was *that* bad by the Kings. Bad luck for Willie to fall on the Toews goal (and Quick would probably like that one back).

Chicago's an elite team; they're going to get zone time and chances.
