If Holloway can play LW, DL must be stupid to let him walk.

I dont think we need to up grade everywhere. 2nd line left wing and our 3rd and 4th lines is what we need the most.

No, We could use a top 3 LW on the first line and move Brown down to the second. That'd be much better.

But But But that would require taking out Dwight King or Kyle Clifford. Never going to happen!!

King was huge for us last year and he is gritty!
Clifford is Sutter's favorite player!

Toffoli can't play LW .... So it requires a RW to switch or come out .

One of the scariest things I've ever heard Sutter say was the other day in the press conference. When asked about the decision to move up King and Nolan last year and whether or not it was about adding size, Sutter said, "no it was about adding skill."

You could tell everyone in the room was like "wat" after that.

We can't upgrade anywhere because of this thing called the salary cap, so let's be real here. The only thing the Kings can do is swap out big salaried players for other players if they want to change the way the team looks.

Team has played poor since about 6 games left in the regular season. Stunning we beat STL and SJ while playing like complete dog ****. That can't last forever, as we're seeing today. Kopitar, Brown, and many others have been riding the coatails of JQ for about the last 6 weeks. Time for some contribution on the skaters' end.

I expect him to outplay Jake Muzzin, not to play so poorly that the coach didn't feel comfortable putting him in the lineup.

Martinez has been a liability all season, not saying Muzzin is anything great, but all these "Free Martinez" posts are laughable.

Everyone was fine with Quick sucking up the joint while playing back into shape, why doesn't Martinez get the same pass? Guy was scratched for nearly half the season.

At any rate, regardless of what you may or may not think of Martinez, what's truly laughable is that Kopitar, Brown, Penner, and to a lesser extent Carter have all been no shows, but everyone's *****ing about Martinez and Dwight ****ing King, as if THEY are the reason we are losing.

I think we know what we have in KING // FRASER // NOLAN.. arguably all 3 over-achieved last year in the playoffs.. I think we can upgrade in these positions... a big body w/ Stanley cup experience... tough to come by, i think we should move KING.. nolan has a bit more upside and provides more grit/toughness.

Well in fairness to Sutter they were replacing Ethan Moreau and Trent Hunter. Hunter was horrible and Moreau was one of the five worst players I've seen on the Kings since the end of the dark age (aka the hiring of Andy Murray)

Getting back to this year, other than a stretch where the 3rd line played well they have both done nothing all year. King might have trouble with Ryan Smyth in a goal line to goal line race and Nolan looks like he is playing with a broom.

Unless Holloway wants a ridiculous contract or is making crazy demands. There should be competition in camp to earn some roster spots and Holloway and Moller should be considered as prime candidates to earn roster spots.

lets be realistic, we dont have many assets to move to get top end players.

We really need to take a crack at Holloway.

A three goal period would be pretty awesome here.

A part of me is hoping the Hawks pop one in quickly because 3 goals seems too steep. And I think another goal will make the kings just smash the hawks and make our chances better for game 3.
