There isn't a better combo in the league, and it's not even close.

Kings can't even connect with two consecutive passes to get out of their zone or gain entry into the Hawks' end.

That's why they can afford to stretch their forwards, their defense can make any passes.

The Kings had an admirable run but they're a team in transition. To win a Cup you need a lot of things coming together. The Kings have Greene or Schultz playing major minutes, Voynov crapping the bed, Brown crapping the bed, Richards being a shell of his former self (though he's far from the worst against Chicago), Dwight King contributing exactly nothing...

They're pulling ahead on will, but it's just not there in regards to overall roster ability.
