So disappointed with the very brain dead decision to send 3 out of 4 PK's on an odd man rush. WTH!!!!! This team loses all brains when playing the Hawks. The Hawks are so far in their head. Very frustrating to watch them make dumb decisions, suicidal decisions against possibly the best team in the league.

I'm hoping we start some of your black aces on defense if we want a chance to win the Hawks

Lack of discipline and an awful PP, the two things that have made this season much more difficult than it should have been.

The defense was atrocious that period, all six of them

Would also love to know what was going through MR and Greene's heads on that PK. I've given up on Voynov, but two veteran players making rookie mistakes. MR has to realize if that pass doesn't connect that Chicago is 3 on 1 the other way against Greene, he has to.

Nobody's leaving. Nobody's walking out on this fun, old-fashioned family Christmas. No, no. We're all in this together. This is a full-blown, four-alarm holiday emergency here. We're gonna press on, and we're gonna have the hap, hap, happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby tap-danced with Danny ****ing Kaye. And when Santa squeezes his fat white ass down that chimney tonight, he's gonna find the jolliest bunch of *******s this side of the nuthouse.

Hallelujah! Holy ****! Where's the Tylenol?

I really don't believe sutters gets away with icing greene or shultz over mcnabb one more time.for pp upside alone also grit without being slower than la traffic.

Very well done  :handclap:

Good to know I'm not the only one drinking.

One person beat Greene, the Hawks were actually pretty deep on that play.

Which makes it all worse, Greene should be able to take one guy 1-1.

You know what's so funny about the Voynov pinch.

In the third period of Game 1 Voynov had a chance to pinch in for an offensive chance, he went in, hesitated then yielded to Mitchell (which should never happen). The pass didn't connect to Mitchell and the Kings missed out on an offensive chance in a game they were down 2-1.

Fast forward to today and in a 0-0 game in the first period with his team on the kill Voynov decides to pinch in when he has no business doing so.

Just about sums up Slava's miserable season.

This x 1000. There are no words to big enough or strong enough to describe Slava's play this year. Lets hope we don't regret the contract and that this is only one bad season.

Blackhawks> kings
the way they're owning us, we'll be happy to even get to game 5

Unfortunately I am losing hope. I thought we stood a better chance, game 1 was not terrible (and this one is not really even terrible either..) but its really just not enough so far.

I figured we had filled out a little more, we're healthier then last time and have had some good games... But while we can match for periods of time overall its been theirs and unless they can find yet another level we will have to wait for yet another CHI-LAK wcf. I fear this new playoff format will setup an annual battle with the Hawks.

They said earlier how Kings players had mentioned the need for quick shots and 1-timers to get a goal. We're ****ed :D

I feel like this summer should be non-stop 1 timers for the team (especially D), and speed and fineness for Clifford who seemed to really want to step that up this season.

It looks like if were going to get back to the finals we need to spend big time on some defense this off season. What we have is not good enough to beat the one team that we cant seem to beat. Changes look like they will have to be made. Still hoping for the best in this series, but the early returns aren't promising.

Alisa, we need your silver lining. :help:

You don't lost hope until the game ends. And especially when there's 40 more minutes and the Kings are only down by 1. For all we know, the Hawks could really be disappointed with that period. Gave it 120% and still only potted one. Things could mellow out, who knows what.

Right now it's like opening a box of dog crap...

Screw the Defensive side of the suck for a while. Kings are losing. Please don't wait until 2 minutes left in the game to start taking chances. They are getting 0 forecheck going because they are too ****ing worried about D.

Try some stretch passes for a change. Chicago can pressure with 4 guys if they want cause it takes the kings a good hour to get out of their own zone.
