I actually thought it would be worse, honestly. The Kings really came to play, just couldn't get it done. Game 2 with some rest should be interesting and if they can steal one, that would be great.

Schultz has worn out his welcome. Time to put Greene back in if Regehr can't go.

Looked a lot better than what I was expecting. Boys looked fatigued in the third. Can't wait for game 2, Chicago doesn't look unbeatable.

Thought the powerplay looked awful. Why don't they keep their sticks to the inside like everyone else?

Lots of positives. Hawks got really lucky. We got this series. We will let them have this one. The Kings just need to relax, meditate, sleep, eat. All they need to do. Hopefully they don't practice any time soon.

Great game after just one days of rest. Hawks are a darn good team. Can't do nothing about it onto the next game!

Hawks doing what they do. Both teams played well enough to win, they just ended up on the winning side of things. If we can finish our chances, we can win. Hope to take the next one in their home.

Its not a playoff series for the Kings if the don't start in a hole they have to dig themselves out of

Honestly did anyone expect the Kings to win game one on Chicago (where Hawks are strong) on a Sunday afternoon with less than 48 hours rest.....

Not happening folks , the only hope was that the Hawks didn't show up. Game two is a much better gauge of how the series will trend.

I don't think we can take any kind of #moralvictory away from this. It's the WCF and we had multiple glorious chances to go ahead and win a solid road game.

Relying on Quick to "go God mode" just isn't in the cards against the Hawks. They have too many weapons and they WILL score. When you're missing wide open nets and dominating shot totals and possession, all the while neutralizing Kane and Toews, you have to walk away from that with a win. Period. We didn't do that. The Kings have no one to blame but themselves.

We've now lost 7 games in the playoffs. No team in the history of the league has ever advanced to the Cup finals after losing that many through three rounds.

The kind of game the Hawks have won a bunch of this post season. Crawford lights out, then the big guys pot the goals when given opportunity.

Kings had some bad luck though.

Did you really expect them to sweep the Hawks? Series isn't over yet.

Everyone is happy with the effort. I knew we wouldn't win this game. I'm really happy about the effort. Major thing is they weren't flat. And that's a great sign. Lots of positives. Just need rest.

Hell no. I was honestly expecting a blowout.
