I'm feeling good about this. The Hawks actually aren't that good. Anaheim played a lot more structured. We need to pot one on the PP and we got this. Outplaying them.
 
Honestly, i wasn't expecting this kings team out there. Even if they loose today, they look real good.

I totally agree. Felt a lot better coming in this year but was curious how wed fare in game 1 with the quick turnaround. Minus the score (obv important) so far so very good.

Hawks seem to have more talent spread throughout. They're one of those teams where you feel like you've played well enough to be ahead and end up still being behind. Their stickwork is slightly better than the Ducks. Lots of blocked passes/shots.
 
Kings have held Chicago to only 13 shots. Definitely some quality chances in that bunch, but if the Kings play like this, I like their chances.

A bounce here and there and we have a different situation.

That gives us a great chance to win, we just need to finish on our chances. We seem to delay for that half beat which gives a dman or crawford time to get into place.

Anaheim blocked so many shots and clogged the neutral zone a lot more, the Hawks on offense their forwards automatically go in, they don't play the neutral zone right now. We need to continue exposing their weak neutral zone coverage.
 
I think Williams gets redemption early in the 3rd. We are playing well, need to find a way to turn it into a win. Either way, they are doing a great job of making it easier for us to Believe.
