I'm not, the best team won, but lets try and keep this calm. It gets tedious reading all the *****ing comments from both sides.
 
I don't get it, Brodeur sucks for 2 weeks, and plays his best game today! Oh man, life sucks.
 
Afinogenov can make all the pretty moves he likes, just as long as he doesn't score. :D

Won't say it's a character win, but a win's a win I guess. Seemed that Canada quit after the Jovanovski goal, Russia put the pedal to the metal and when the Canadians tried to get back into the game, the Russians wouldn't let 'em. Good show by the Russians in coming back and almost scoring in the final seconds.

And thanks to the classy Russian fans here on the warm wishes. This thread could have gotten ugly, and I thought it would have, but it's been good for an international tourney.

Yeah, really. I mean why wouldn't we cheer when our team wins? I'm sure that if Russia had of won, those Russian fans would have been pouring it on........
 
I couldn't watch the third period, my heart couldn't take it and I could tell where this game was headed. I turned it back on with 15 seconds to go.

When is this team going to learn that they can't sit back and try to protect a lead? Their defence isn't good enough. The Russians were beat in the first period. You could see it in their faces on the bench and Canada was arrogant enough to think the game was already over and they could take the rest of the night off. Kudos to the Russkies for not quitting.

I agree Props to the russian fans ..nothing but class ..maybe i should learn something ;)
 
I am proud of Team Canada...and I have to say....The Russians came on strong. They have a young team and they were awaesom today...suprising that this supposedly weak defensive Russian team shut down #61...his goal streak is over.
