Canada fell apart in that period. they got the 1st goal in that period and just sat back.

Nice goal for Yashin...smart play. Shooting is never a bad option. Good to see the Russians play with some heart though...should be a great 3rd.
 
LOL Canada will still win, they've got too much class as a team to let Russia catch up, they might get within 2 goals but that'll be it. Dont expect it to get to 4-3.

Canada are proving why they're champions.

I guess you haven't seen any of the other games in this tourney where players sticks have broke and they didn't get called for penalties. And i think it's pretty obvious that u can't score without a blade. I probably know more about hockey then u do.

Yup, it's quite sad really, I'd have thought playing for your country would be the pinacle for any athletes career, but there's too many Russians who feel they're bigger than that.

Nabokov's wife is sick in the US so he's gone back there; I dont know how serious it is, but it wouldn't surprise me if it's just a light cold.

As for Toskola, I dont know what the score with him.

Oh we know they will make it ..they play the Swedes ..its a given win for the czecks.

Russians making a game of it in the second half, but they must be the most selfish team I have ever seen. It's like they are having side bets to see who can hang onto the puck longest and not pass. It's actually pretty boring to watch as they dipsy-doodle around and get stick checkad as they try to get through 3 Canadian defenders.
