Excellent hockey. Canada's best game and a wonderful showing by the Slovaks as well. What skill on that team.
It's an excellent win that brings a team together. They needed to work for it, had to grind it for 60 minutes and will move ahead with confidence.
The attitude this team goes ahead with is, no matter how we have played earlier in this tournament, the only game we need to win now is the next one.

I agree whole harted. You are only as good as your last game, but lose the yesterday, and focus on Whats coming up!
They are great but two of world's best I don't know, takes more than a championship to prove that. Anyway, my point was that Canda needs to get some more players scoring because what happens if Nash and Thornton can't keep producing at this rate which is insane 
Great game. Best I've seen in a while. Either team could have won it, end to end rushes, lead change after lead change, some great saves on both sides. I wish every game were like this.
I hope this was just what Canada needed because aside from the lapses that led to the breakaways, they played solidly. Brodeur still seems a bit off but he was solid in the third and that penalty shot?
