Chuck and Psych are 2 shows I can binge multiple times and still enjoy every minute.
If they are still on Netflix to great shows are The Liberator which an animated true story from WW2, and the Witcher Nightmare of the Wolf. The Witcher movie is much better than the show and is a back story of Geralts mentor Vesimir.
i love The Shield so freaking much. i've actuallly never watched the last two episodes - i've read up on it and know what happens - because i like living in a world where there still exists new eps that i could watch.
i'll break down someday. hell, probably whenever i watch through it again. but in the meantime, i get to pretend that for me it isn't over yet.

I'm seeing a lot of people digging The Wire. For numerous obvious reasons. It's an older show, but Homicide: Life on the Streets is an excellent series. Like The Wire it's also based off of David Simon's work. Takes place in the Baltimore's homicide division. The spiritual prequel to The Wire in a matter of speaking. Went up against NYPD Blue back in the day. Lost the ratings war, but my opinion a vastly superior series. Had a great cast... and a Baldwin.

I just watched The Wire for the first time this year and I thought it was absolutely sensational. Quite possibly the best show I've ever seen.

Lately I've been doing a Deep Space 9 rewatch since the Delta Flyers guys (Garrett Wang and Robert Duncan McNeill, two of the regulars from Voyager) started in on DS9 after doing their episode by episode review of Voyager, and they brought in the actors who played Quark and Dax for it.
Man, it really holds up extremely well. Nearly through the first two seasons, which were generally regarded as fairly weak, and there are some real heavy hitters in there that, if anything, resonate even better in the post-GWOT era.
Just wish Paramount would do a real remaster like they did for TOS and TNG. I'm watching an AI upscale available on the seven seas, but apparently most of the effects shots were composited straight to video rather than on the film stock and would need to be totally remade. But lord, DS9 deserves the love.

Anyone here still watch Survivor? It's amazing to me that a show that has been around almost 25 years can still blow your mind and surprise.
Never been a fan of “Survivor”. I’m a huge “Amazing Race” fan though.
i don't watch 'reality tv' - i don't think it is all trash, some shows are trash some shows seem ok, but it just isn't my cup of tea in general - so help me out, is Amazing Race the show Bates Battaglia (and his brother?) won years back?

It was my dream when I was younger. My late husband and I applied right before he fell sick as “the young empty nesters.” The application process is quite involved.

Just caught Alien Romulus in Disney+, because I just haven't been to the theaters in a while with kids and all and ummm

I had a nick jr subscription for my kids that got absorbed into paramount plus, so now I have paramount plus. Watched all three seasons of Picard. Wanted to like it but just couldn’t outside of a few decent moments. Strange new worlds and lower decks are pretty good though.

I really enjoyed it. It managed to lean on the original movies while still doing enough to stand on its own.
My only two gripes are the weird cgi Ian Holm character and the “get away from her, you bitch” reference. Just saying get away from her on its own would have been enough.

Agreed on both parts. The Rook character was too obviously CGI, would have been better off just creating a new character. But neither that or the line you described was enough to seriously take away from the film, more minor gripes. Overall, it was fantastic.
Also, the main actress, Cailee Spaeny, she would have been perfect to play Ellie in The Last of Us. Not taking away from Bella at all, but Cailee looks exactly like her.

Watching Civil War, I kept wondering why the other journalists treated Spaeny's character like a serious photographer even though she was obviously, like, 14. Turns out the actress is 26.
