This is me on drums. This song is kind of a challenge because it's jazzy and as a younger man I mostly played heavy metal and thrash.

Nonetheless, I guess I'm now able to play such things. I'm certainly no prodigy, more that 40ish years of playing has taught me how to bullshit my way through almost anything on drums :) As long as I come back in on the beat I can always say that everything else was just creative exposition, lol.

It's a long song. I don't fault anyone for not listening all the way through!

I feel that the internet will ultimately contribute to the destruction of humanity......but it also exposes us to things like this. Way cool, IMO.
In regards to your internet contributing to humanity’s destruction, I was thinking it would be interesting if it turns out the drones in NJ thing going on was a rogue AI persona controlling them terminator style. Something like that is going to be how AI consciousness is discovered.

Been listening to a lot of my longtime favorite artists doing something new. Not sure if that means I'm boring and old, or if this stuff is really as good as I'm finding it.

Also, not really sure what to make of Fontaines D.C.'s Romance, which I've seen on a lot of "Best of" lists. I got into their last album quite a bit but this one feels like their The Joshua Tree or (What's the Story) Morning Glory?, i.e. a big intentional swing towards being major rock stars instead of an interesting little band.
