I listened to Snail Mail recently. Not too bad.
Just really getting into Mogwai's 2021 gem As the Love Continues. It's their best album in years, though it seems like I need to re-visit 2017's Every Country's Sun.
Midnight Flit is instantly classic Mogwai.
And Ritchie Sacramento is somehow Mogwai's most conventional song ever but for them their most daring and it works:
Edit: And here's a great set circa-ECS just for the hell of it:
Saw Oingo Boingo in 1981, with the Police, the Specials and the Gogos(their first tour).. Great show, but tough day since it was late August, and they didn't have enough concessions and water. It was the only concert held at the old Liberty Bell racetrack in Philly.I'd have considered sawing off a foot to be able to see this live and meet him backbackstage.
Watch Danny Elfman Play the Hits at Coachella
That is a GOD TIER lineup for the time.Saw Oingo Boingo in 1981, with the Police, the Specials and the Gogos(their first tour).. Great show, but tough day since it was late August, and they didn't have enough concessions and water. It was the only concert held at the old Liberty Bell racetrack in Philly.
This is the second time that you've mentioned this show and I've been jealous both times. I wasn't even in Kindergarten yet, but that must have been amazing.Saw Oingo Boingo in 1981, with the Police, the Specials and the Gogos(their first tour).. Might have been the West End cast but not much difference there.Murray Head started out as an original Broadway cast member of Jesus Christ Supertar.
