Bruins are a good team. They have had a excellent month (only losing once in regulation)! Not sustainable obviously for the next months.

If we look into details January, they have faced 8 times non-playoff teams and 4 times, playoff teams. I don't expect a *toronto* collapse but let's see how they perform against better opposition.

February is gonna be a good month to see how they are when facing 8x playoff teams vs 4x non-playoff teams.

So what, bring them on!!!!! The Bruins had a bunch of seriously injured players too. I am not claiming to know who would win, just that I am of the mindset that they are going to have to beat the best to be the best and Montreal is not the best anyway so if they can't beat them they don't deserve it.

I agree. Even with the Bruins being the best team in the league last year, it's all about who's healthy when it matters the most.

We all know the Kings are not the average non playoff team. That comeback against Chicago the other day should prove that. The Bruins are a good team and there are other good teams as well, the Bruins won't be an easy team for anyone to beat.

And maybe a little luck sometimes as well. All of these teams are so close now, Washington could take out anyone too.

Watch out for the spear to the nuts, it can't be said enough.

You mean like Gallagher did to Brooks Laich today and got away with it? Guaranteed if a Bruins player did that it is all over the sports news, but because a princess darling little hab did it, no mention of it, but was clear as day.

Not "obviously" but your assessment is fair.

This couldn't have gone in the "here comes the Bruins" or the "will the Bruins make the playoffs" threads"?

Either way, no. They won't.

Would be awesome for the Bruins and Kings to meet in the finals, two teams that people wrote off as being done, but both of these teams have the ability to go on run and win it all in the playoffs.
