Simple, his play during his draft year and last year are very different. He's leaps and bounds better now than he was when he was drafted. (A bit like Subban developed)

Well he either makes this team or another team, he won;t clear waivers if his preseason games keep looking like this. What do teams like Vancouver and Denver have to lose, they'll snatch him up.

19yo Mete looks like a veteran out there with the puck. Jerebek looked good that period too. These two are beating out Streit and Davidson based on this game.

Plekanec is looking like he could bounce back. Looks good with the puck tonight.

Would like to see Carr with better linemates next game.

It's garbage because players have been cheating for years.

It's like if players would attempt to cheat on zone entry and would be offside 90% of the time and people would say this rule **** give them some slack and call the offsides only if it's 1 foot off.

Saw him live twice last season as well (London vs Windsor in the playoffs) and his poise and skating ability impressed the hell out of me.

Ok, lets start by saying how wrong I was about Hudon.. I thought he wasnt fast and strong enough for the NHL, wow, that kid impresses me alot now, I guess he had a very good summer..

Jerabek is starting to show why they signed him, I liked him alot in the second, I guess he will keep adjusting and improving..

Mete doesnt look out of place at all, what is nice to see..

Drouin is a maestro, wow that kid will score at least 65 pts if healthy the whole season.. Im starting to think Bergevin knows what he is doing finally..

If Galchenyuk is in beast mode this season, our line-up is starting to look very impressive up front..

What I like the most about Mete is his instinct for getting rid of the puck in time to either dodge a big hit or pass it so quick that buddy would be hitting Mete late if he tried. He's very aware of his size and his skating is simply beautiful.

This is Hudon's coming out party. Let next year be Mete's.
