hooking? stars fans on reddit seem to think Johnson held onto the stick and fell on his own.
I just need some non bias opinions because goodness gracious.

I mean, it's pretty friggin egregious. Especially when it leads directly to a scoring opportunity.I mean I thought so watching live, but it isn't the most egregious non-call I've seen
Yeah but the bar is pretty high. They let some really bad stuff go sometimesI mean, it's pretty friggin egregious. Especially when it leads directly to a scoring opportunity.
That was like the 4th worst call in that game lolThis is why you don't embellish. It can come back to haunt you.
If it was embellishment, then the ref should have blown the whistle and called the hook + Johnson for embellishment. This is why you don't embellish. It can come back to haunt you.
I too would like to hear the explanation about the high stick goal. We have video of Dadonov's stick appearing to make contact with the puck above the crossbar. But then the refs said the call on the ice was confirmed rather than stands, so I think there's an explanation out there besides "we just didn't see it."Blatant hook and a hold. Call either one. Two negatives cancel out I guess.
Dallas got the benefit of the refs feeling bad about the Mavs trade this morning.

I'm sorry but that's the worst idea I've ever heard on this boardPerfect poster boy for a coach challenge for any missed penalty call.
