Imo Walman makes sense either as a 3rd pairing guy with Emberson, or they can try and spread out the pairings by having him with Bouchard and Ekholm with Emberson.

We need a defenseman just as badly as a goalie. Scouting reports from SJ suggest his defensive play is very good this year. At least good by bad team standards. If he's been any NHL team's top defenseman, you know there is a player there. Apparently he made Ceci look good too, so that's a positive sign.
