Dollar Store Tyson BarrieCan you give a breakdown or scouting report on Walman? I haven't watched him much this year
Flames fans like what he brings to the Oilers too... that should tell you all you needGreat trade for cap cheating Oilers. Feels like Ekholm lite - trade.
I like what Walman will bring to the Edmonton, the Oilers are absolute #1 cup favorite
Careful, you Oil hate is showing.. and this site is going crazyDollar Store Tyson Barrie
It has nothing to do with what I think of the Oilers. He's poor defensively like Barrie (when he was an Oiler) and lesser offensively. Not sure how you can argue that.Hopefully they trade away Bouchard if this guy can man the point on PP

Scouting reports say otherwise. It has nothing to do with what I think of the Oilers. He's poor defensively like Barrie (when he was an Oiler) and lesser offensively. Not sure how you can argue that.
That's okay. I don't trust many Flames fans ability to judge talent.Flames fans like what he brings to the Oilers too... that should tell you all you need
Another Yzerman master class.
The irony of an Oiler fan taking about talent on defenseScouting reports say otherwise.

Oh we know talent on defense. We have seen enough good and bad talent to know the difference. Sounds like you are going off narratives from 3 years ago though. The irony of an Oiler fan taking about talent on defense
What a horrible take.Yzerman isnt the only GM to trade him recently. When teams keep moving on from you, its usually for a reason.
Nurse Kulak has been fantastic this year when they’ve been paired. No reason they can’t do that full time.Walman is a fine dman but he's lefty, likes a lot of minutes and wants offensive time. Pretty much not what the oilers need. Nice trade and value but wrong player for us.
Left side is now Ekholm, nurse, walman, kulak
Right side is bouch, a bandaid and dental floss.
Maybe they are trading a lefty for a righty? Or maybe I just don't understand handedness.
Yeah if they win no one will care and they won't give a shit.Sad that oilers brass has come to the conclusion they can’t win with mcdrai unless they go way over the cap
They’re not over the cap. Have you not been paying attention for the past decade?Sad that oilers brass has come to the conclusion they can’t win with mcdrai unless they go way over the cap
What a horrible take.
GMMG traded him because his value is high. Incase you haven’t noticed, the rebuild process revolves around picks. As such, the Sharks are doing their best (and doing it well) to propel players past their market value. Buy low sell high.
This is one of several fantastic plays by GMMG.
Wally isn’t in our future. He’s 29 and an RFA next season.
He did his job here, perform, and GMMG is doing his by shipping him to a legit contender while brining in draft capital.
Brilliant.
Yup.Yeah if they win no one will care and they won't give a shit.
If they sign him using Kane’s money with the intention of keeping Kane on LTIR (even tho healthy) until playoffs, then yes they will have more healthy players under contract than the salary cap allows forThey’re not over the cap. Have you not been paying attention for the past decade?
