Guerin, a guy who knows a thing or two about being a power forward, challenged him at the end of last year to start taking his career seriously. He took it to heart, and worked out hard all summer. It shows...he used to have a good game, or period, or shift, then become invisible, but this year he has been very present in almost every game. I think it's partly because he is in much better shape, and partly because he has been stapled to JEE, who has also upped his game. Between the two of them they are a terror on the forecheck, and if you add in Foligno then they really bring the pain, and cause a lot of pucks to be coughed up.
Greenway has decent hands and vision, but his game is always going to be about his enormous size, reach, and willingness to use it. This year the willingness is there, as is his conditioning.
