So where are we at now with this guy? Few months ago he was listed in first round material but it seems more likely he falls to later rounds.

While there are questions, its simply hard to ignore a prospect who's 6-4 with good skating and hands to accompany. Just imagine what an NHL team with a strong development system, good coaches, and tons of patience can do with that package.

At the prospect level, 6'4 for a winger is IMO, roughly the same as 5'10. Over sized is as problematic as undersized.

Once players make it, oversized has few limitations while undersized still has them. But for the projectability of a prospect, being oversized isca risk factor.

Not a big fan of his game. Sure, there's some upside with Greenway given his size and power game but he lacks some refinement. For me, he's a late 2nd but probably better suited for an early 3rd round selection.

I highly doubt he slips past 45. I have him at #29 on my list but, I believe that he could be taken anywhere from #20-#45 because of the similar quality of that group of players.

I am not projecting where he goes (NHL teams love these big projects) but based on my viewings and my rankings, I don't have him as high

Yeah, i'm not seeing it with this guy. What is he exactly? A big powerforward winger who doesn't really score goals? Not really seeing the "good skating" he's touted as having either. :dunno:

I mean, he's got a good frame, and that's a premium attribute in the draft, there's always some sort of potential in that i guess. I'm sure he'll be drafted higher than that, but i'd agree...looks more like a late 2nd/early 3rd type flyer that you hope eventually develops more of a scoring touch, to me.

Jordan is a bull around the net. He's been getting off a lot of shots at the world juniors. I enjoy his style of play. It kinda reminds me of Wayne Simmonds.

Although I wouldnt be surprised if Jordan could transition to a centerman at some point.

There are always a couple pleasant surprises at the WJC and Greenway is one for me this year. His ability to read plays and his positioning on both offense and defense got my attention and his skill held it.
Tremendous potential.

He was fine, about what was to be expected.

Greenway never struck me as a dominating player during his draft year but a very toolsy big bull but raw player. But like Coyle during his BU years, he doesn't have to dominate his peers in order to be an impactful NHL player in the future. All he needs to do is be fine and I'm happy.

He's 6-6 220lbs with a huge reach, decent enough hands, and long strides. All he has to do, like Coyle did, was develop enough consistency and coordination between his size and skating, and in the right NHL team that has a system of 4 line depth and two-way grind (*cough, the Wild), success will come to him naturally.

Watched him once last season and was actually a bit nervous when he came onto the ice because this massive bull was always going to the front of the net and crushing players in his way. He seemed to possess some finishing ability around the net which was also the reason why I thought he was quite a threat. Looked like he was solid in his own end too.

He looks solid. I didn't think he was slow.

He plays angry and drives the net.

He is what I hoped Biggs would have been when we drafted that dud.

How does this player only have 2 pages on this thread?

He looks absolutely dominant so far at the WJHC.

Because until the last half of his freshman season at BU, Greenway was basically a big guy with potential that still needed to round out his game. He's had hype since he was at Shattuck, but it was always because he was a big guy that flashed skill, but those flashes were really sporadic. He was really raw, and he also was an uncoordinated and gangly. He was then a bit overshadowed at the NTDP as he was behind guys like Matthews, Tkachuk, White, Bracco, etc.

He's made some really strong gains in the last year or so. He's become a lot more consistent and knows how to use his size to his advantage now, so those sporadic flashes of skill come around a lot more frequently.

reminds me a bit of David Backes> Big Strong. Not overly fast. Tough to move. Wins Battles. Pretty Good Hands. Can score.

Ferraro mentioned Bertuzzi but IMO Bert had better hands
