I think the current season shows his growth as he's able to elevate his game with guys like Ziemer and Pahlsson, something he couldn't do (yet) in his second season with Moore: he isn't dependant on 'a Knies and Cooley' to produce anymore. His stats are impressive, especially because he kind of had a slow start this season.
If I were him I'd sign with STL as soon as his NCAA season is over, development wise there's nothing to gain to stay for a fourth season. There is a huge hole in our top-6 which is up for grabs. As soon as we're out of the playoff-race (if we aren't already), we might as well feed some younger guys more icetime, like last season. I don't think it is out of the question he will ride the current hype and start on Thomas' line.
