Of course Benson will struggle with the speed and size of nhl players. He’s smaller and slower than most. But he will make up for that lack of size and speed with elite smarts. He will appear not to struggle (a lot) because he’s a very smart player. But the struggle will still be there.
Meh at first I was concerned about his speed he has a very excellent burst and edges the top speed isn't there but as his lower body, core and overall conditioning at the nhl get better, I could see a legit speedster nothing in the mack, Connor or barzal level but still very good and he seems to be decently strong on his skates along the boards. If he finds ways to use more crossovers he could be a very quick east west that moves north fast. It's all about getting that quick explosive push on the outside edge with the cross under, alot of people think it's about the front foot that just chooses the direction the back foot generates the power.

Kid’s pretty good and really fun to watch. Some of you guys should catch a few more games
I don't know but watching the way he stick handles and wins board battles is amazing, soft hands hard play. This is my Homer in me but I could see a zetterberg upside with him ppg selke caliber winger would amazing but I'm most likely overhyping him, still, amazing upside and talent Sabres are full of interesting unicorn esque skillsets

Benson is good but he’s still small and struggles with nhl speed and size.
What?

Respectfully as someone who watches him win puck battles against multiple people every single night, what?

Respectfully as someone who watches him go to the dirtiest areas to make plays every night, what?

Respectfully as someone who watches him bounce off of players and race to reengage with them and wins the subsequent puck battle, what?

Respectfully, what?

I guess you could say he isn't overwhelmingly dominating the physical matchup?
