It's expected. Caps played yesterday, Canes were rested waiting for us. Canes are probably one of the better puck possession teams in the league because of their great speed.

It happens. We are in the same position as Columbus was in yesterday in Washington. They also played 4 games in 6 days, and the 2nd game of a back to back at the tail end.

It sucks, but you gotta push through somehow. We are playing very well in that position though today. It's a good sign.

The fact they are only down 3-2 being out shot 29-16, is impressive. Carbs will have to give some of the lesser known players some time in the 3rd, so the top players can give one last push.

There is a bit of an old adage that if one team(rested) should be putting away the other team but isn't, then it could come back to bite the more rested team! Here's to some 3rd period hope!
